A young man was having nightmares…he was seeing ghosts in his room at night!

He told his girlfriend who attends services in Guadalajara, Mexico where Mark & Carole Landis are involved in church planting.  She brought him to church to see what the Bible says about ghosts.

As a result, both of them got involved in a Bible study and he trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation!

“I can’t stand it any longer. I can’t resist Him any longer!

Please help me.  I want to be a Christian I want to know Him.”  Those were the words of one of the seven interns who trusted in Jesus as Savior at a drug rehabilitation center.

Kevin & Alina Beach are experiencing growth in the church they are planting in Mezcalitos, Mexico.  Since January, Kevin has been able to teach weekly at the drug rehabilitation center.  The staff have welcomed him with open arms.  The interns at the center are now allowed to attend church services with Kevin on Sundays!

The center recently celebrated their one year anniversary and invited Kevin to join them.  All the interns that spoke, mentioned that a great part of their rehabilitation is that God is working in their lives.  The director concluded by saying that he recognized that without God’s direction for their interns, their job would be a lot harder, and that the church, Ministerio de Vida Nueva, was a vital part of their restoration.

“We were surprised to learn that school children would have just five week vacation,”

…Arturo & Silvia Tomé wrote about their ministry in Puebla, Mexico.  “It was a very short period of time to accomplish the scheduled Vacation Bible School (VBS) classes as well as the Five Day Bible Classes.  But the Lord provided additional personnel and everything was smooth.

“The Vacation Bible School classes were for children as well as for young people. It was a joy to hear testimonies of the Lord’s working in the lives of those attending.  We met these teenage girls near a VBS site and invited them to attend. Each one of them trusted in Christ.”

The Lord is moving in hearts in the neighborhood!

John & Marilyn Asmah have been praying for the salvation of their neighbors-friends in Dodowa, Ghana. “S” was the first to accept Christ as his personal Savior.  He then invited John to come to his home and present the Gospel to his entire family.  Praise the Lord, the entire family gave their lives to Jesus!

Two weeks later, John was able to share with another neighbor for whom they have been praying for three years.  “A” is half Ivorian and half Ghanaian and is  heavily indoctrinated in his religion.  John made an appointment with him.  On Friday night, “A” came the Asmahs’ home at 7 P.M. and stayed for 4 hours.

He had a lot of struggles and questions and at times the conversation was very serious and tense.  They discussed many Bible verses. John used Scripture after Scripture to rebut his beliefs that were not biblically based.

In the end, John asked him what he wanted to do.  He made the decision to accept Christ as his personal Savior!  All those hours were worthwhile!   “A” now wants John to come to his home to speak with his wife, some in-laws, and even one of his employees!
