Who does a Christian worker turn to when needing perspective?

Depending where they are located, there may be no one.  In one European country, a FIM missionary is ready to provide help.

After speaking at a workshop for church leaders, the missionary was approached by a choir director who made an appointment.  In the following counseling sessions, he shared about conflicts in the church, wounds from the past and job interviews in two other churches.

His words after the third counseling session were very significant: “I am so thankful to the Lord that He has led me to you! You were the answer to a prayer I have been praying for many years.”

God’s Word does not return void!

As we share the gospel, we are planting seeds that our amazing God can use to bring people to salvation…even at a much later time!

As Dan Nickel and his ministry partner, David, shared the gospel on the streets of Limerick, Ireland, Mario introduced himself to them.  He had heard Dan preach in 2000.  Since then Mario had been saved and lives in the United Kingdom.  He recounted the process of how he heard the gospel.  Without a doubt, the gospel is the power of God which He uses to save men and women.   It is amazing how God uses proclaiming the gospel, though we may not see the results until much later.

Unable to understand why a loving God would allow terrible things to happen–

as a teenager, “P” turned his back on his nominal Roman Catholic upbringing and became an atheist.  In college in 2016, “P” says he managed to “mess up his schooling and his future”.  He got kicked out of school and had to go live with his parents again.

Then there was a falling out with his girlfriend.  Thinking about how everything had been a failure, “P” climbed up on the edge of the balcony intending to jump to his death.  Looking down, he saw his parents, friends, and the future that he could have—what “P” now believes was God’s intervention.

Through the invitation of a friend, “P” began attending the church where Jerad & Wanda Mellette have a youth ministry.  As he met with Jerad and the pastor, “P” came to faith in Jesus Christ and was recently baptized!  God is still in the miracle-working business!

Winter is summer in Argentina…

Summer camp was a huge blessing with around 70 teenagers the first week and 60 young adults the next! Besides God working in the hearts of the campers, the location of the camp was an unexpected blessing.

Lucio & Amanda Gallo share that because there was a public pool onsite they “were able to share the gospel with many people who weren’t involved in the camp.  People who came to use the pool ended up joining in our water games one afternoon.  We were able to preach the gospel, hand out tracts, and invite them to return the next day to hear the preaching!”  God used the location to be able to share the gospel!
