FIM congratulates Dennis and Coletta Shelly, who served as teaching missionaries in Nigeria for nearly forty years. During Homecoming on September 19, 2026, Lancaster Bible College honored the Shellys with the 2026 Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award. The college held a luncheon for them and two other alumni award recipients and their guests. This special recognition honors their ministry of teaching the Bible and training Nigerian pastors at two Bible schools in that country. Their humble spirit, academic excellence, and organizational skills impacted two generations of Nigerian leaders to proclaim the gospel and establish churches across Nigeria and other African nations. The Shellys continue to serve the ECWA Theological Seminary in Kagoro, Nigeria through guidance, advocacy, and financial advancement.
